Your Rehabilitation with Home Links Physiotherapy

Have you recently experienced a stroke, undergone surgery, or been discharged from hospital and need physiotherapy support at home? Home Links Physiotherapy is a community physiotherapy service covering South East London and Kent — and we come to you.

Why choose Home Links Physiotherapy?

At Home Links, we understand that every person's rehabilitation journey is different. Whether you are recovering from a stroke, preparing for surgery, or managing a long-term condition, having the right support in the right place makes all the difference.

Our team of experienced physiotherapists provides personalised, expert care in the comfort of your own home — so you can focus on your recovery without the stress of travelling to appointments.

Physiotherapy in your own home

A dedicated and expert team

What sets Home Links apart is that our physiotherapists are not lone practitioners — they are part of a well-supported, specialist community physiotherapy team. We meet regularly for training and professional development, share knowledge across the team, and maintain safe, evidence-based practice throughout.

Our team includes HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, and Fitness Instructors — giving us the breadth to support people across a wide range of rehabilitation needs, from complex post-operative recovery through to gentle fitness and strength programmes.

You can be confident that you are in safe, experienced hands.

Tailored care plans

We begin every new client relationship with a comprehensive assessment. From there, we work closely with you — and your family, if you would like — to create a care plan that reflects your goals, your lifestyle, and what matters most to you.

Whether you are working towards getting in and out of a car independently, climbing the stairs safely, or simply moving with more confidence day to day, we build your sessions around what you want to achieve. Every session is designed to count.

We treat a wide range of conditions and rehabilitation needs, including:

  • Stroke rehabilitation

  • Post-operative physiotherapy (hip and knee replacement, spinal surgery, and more)

  • Pre-operative preparation

  • Neurological conditions

  • Falls prevention and balance rehabilitation

  • Musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain

Working alongside the NHS

Many of our clients have received — or are currently receiving — NHS physiotherapy, and we are experienced at working in coordination with NHS colleagues.

Some clients come to us while on an NHS waiting list. Others use our sessions to top up their NHS care or to continue their rehabilitation once NHS provision has ended. We are happy to work in whatever way suits you best — you simply tell us how you would like us to support you, and how regularly you would like visits.

The comfort and convenience of home-based care

Receiving physiotherapy at home removes one of the most common barriers to recovery: getting there. For people who are unable to travel, or for whom a journey would be exhausting or painful, home visits make consistent rehabilitation possible.

For families, we can also act as a trusted point of contact — providing expertise, reassurance, and practical support to help navigate the health and care system alongside your loved one.

Often, we become a familiar and valued part of the weekly routine. More than a few clients have told us we are the appointment they most look forward to.
